At least for a little while! I'm usually watching the clock, but the past few days I took the nal and it didn't occur for me to drinkd until I saw the clock. Of course, I still imbibed, but I notice it's taking me much longer to finish. I'm still on my first glass, and it's been an hour. (But I've had lots of distractions, last night too). Any bit of progress is encouraging, though, even if it's temporary.

Took nal and forgot to drink! I would say that's a sure sign, what do you think? I wish I could say the same. You're heading in the right direction it won't be long :P

H4B, me too, takes me longer to drink now, it sounds so silly to me in my case. Longer to drink? But it's true, but I somehow manage to still down my 2 bottles almost every night before I go to bed. Sometimes I feel like I'm racing with myself. But why???? I have no idea!

H4B thats definitely an indication of something happening- especially given you've been under stress recently. Keep the faith!

Thanks, all. My headline might've been a bit misleading, though. I didn't actually forget to drink, I just didn't think of it until I saw what time it was. Petal, I hear ya. No matter what time I start/stop, it still seems like my consumption is pretty much the same. Hopefully that will go down soon...

Hi h4b,

Exactly the same with me. Puzzling, isn't it? Since virtually all my drinking is done during evenings, it's almost as if my brain needs a certain amount of alcohol to prepare me for sleep. Some evenings, I have my first drink at, say, 5:00 pm and, on other evenings, my first drink is at 8:00 pm. I go to bed between 11:00 pm and 12:30 am. Every day, my alcohol intake is 14 UK units +/- 2 UK units. Curious.

All the best,

V.
