I'm going to have to get a real tracking chart going. Will do something tomorrow. Not sure I like the signature method and I can't do the unit stuff - too stupid to figure it out each time. I'll stick with oz.

Here's an excel spreadsheet that might help: http://www.thesinclairmethod.net/community/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=684&sid=22a6c173b69ce970c14efa82593d6598

A boozer board just wouldn't be the same without a resident geek. ;)

LOLOL - Nick, that was priceless!!!

BGH - love it that you are here and enjoying your posts. Thought it interesting about the "full cupboard" anxiety. You are probably right on about yourself. Hang on & good luck!

Hi BGH - I love reading your posts...

I can identify with making up for not having enough...I buy extra everything. I'm the same way with clothes...had very few growing up and lived in my brother's hand me down flannel shirts and jeans. I now get very anxious before any social outing or inning and buy several new outfits prior to the occassion. It all stems back to making up for how I felt when getting teased for my clothes growing up. So silly but I had never connected the dots with my wine hording as well. Could be.

I have a spreadsheet that automatically calculates the # of units based on # of glasses of wine. I count each glass as 1.5 units....so you could do something similar to make it easier or stick with ounces - as long as you are consistent you will start to see a trend.

Glad your husband is so supportive and that you both understand you are worth it.

Hey BGH,

We don't try and spoil things by drinking. Its the wiring in our brains which if I'm to understand why TSM is so revolutionary is because it's THE FIRST TIME WE FIX THE WIRINGS IN OUR ALCOHOLIC BRAINS. And then we won't spoil things drinking anymore because we will have regained control. Will power doesn't work right now because we are hard wired to drink. Our bodies are in tune with booze as are our minds....I'm off to exercise and take my nal right before I start my 1 hour work out, then finish and begin my drink therapy for the evening. Hang tight...its a bit of a journey but as you're finding, these people all are looking out for all of us....Best,..Jim
