I'm on my fourth week and I'm taking 50mg everyday but I'm finding I'm just not feeling good being on it (stomach problems and an overall blah the next morning). I take it around 4pm to start drinking by 5pm and I'm usually in bed by 9pm or 10pm the latest. Do you think I should only be taking 25mg?

No studies have ever been done showing 25mgs of Nal + Drinking to be effective. Theoretically it may be, but why would you want to be the guinea pig?

I find that I have GI issues and feel overall blah the mornings after I drink AL too. . You might want to pull the insert to to check, but other than nausea I don't recall any type of "stomach problem" to be a reported side effect.

I've seen quite a lot of discussion on this across various threads, corkit. Perhaps have a look through the older threads, or search for '25mg' and see what comes up?

So now I have another question, my husband takes a total of 50mg a day but he is an all day drinker so he takes 25mg in the morning and another 25mg later in the day to last him until he goes to bed at 9pm or 10pm. Is the Nal working then for him seeing he's on a lower dose as he drinks?

I believe Dr. Eskapa weighed in on the subject of all day drinking and he recommended 50mgs in the morning and 50mgs in the evening.
