Yes , definately the ADE in force . When I did my 6 AF's I bounced high on the seventh .
I find the other situation where I drink more is if I drink several days in a row one
spikes up and that's probably as tolerance goes up ; I still remark the same patterns though further down and less often .

Soulby, I'm so happy for you! I love to read success stories. I would say you are pretty much there. And doing so in the middle of a divorce -- wow. Incredible. Don't knock the online dating sites. Met a lot of very nice men! Including my husband (tho I'm not putting him in the "nice" category right now!")

Week 18- Whopeeeeeee!!!

15 UK Units = 8.7 US 3AF

Well i can't help feeling totally delighted. 1 unit above what is considered safe for women. Most importantly i stayed more or less on target. I have mentioned already that each time i start after AF days i drink more and as the days go on i find it easy to hardly drink at all. I really feel i am getting towards my goal which is to drink moderately when i drink. AF days are mostly easy enough to achieve. I am almost afraid to say it out loud in case something sneaks up and bites me! Another couple of weeks of this and i might declare myself cured!!!
Now if only there was a magic tablet which would produce a lovely man in my life :lol:

So happy for you, congratulations! I think you are likely there but wise to wait a bit just in case there is a last hurrah in you needing to be extinguished.

Week 19. 18.37 Uk units 10.6 US 4 AF
Bit disappointing Thurs night after AF days i drank over 11 units- which is pre TSM level. There didnt seem to be any particular trigger- it felt like i hadn't taken anything. however normal service resumed on fri and sat. I was especially pleased on sat cos i was with family who are biggish drinkers and i didn't even finish my third small glass of wine. After reading Happy and Elf i am even more cautious now about declaring too soon.
