It takes more effort to stay involved in something once you've been through the journey. I think it's human nature. A lot of us "cured ones" are still around and make sporadic or periodic posts like I do because TSM has given us our lives back and we want to ensure others are cured as well, so they can begin enjoying life to the full once again.

Regarding the locale. I think most of the TSM membership are in the US, so there would likely be a greater turnout if it were in the US (sorry UK). The geographic center of the contiguous US is near Lebanon, Kansas, The mean center of population of the US is in Phelps County, Missouri. The major city that is near both of these centers is Kansas City, Missouri. So that would be my suggestion.

For those who think more worldwide, the mean center of population of the world is in Afghanistan. If anyone would like to go there, be my guest.

MY OM was a professor there....

I love the suggestion,...but again, I'm biased....and yes I've heard EVERY Wizard of Oz joke when I say I'm from Kansas (Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain).

And KC is not that expensive to get to,...although I still think coasts can be cheaper to fly to...Denver is expensive....and if/when we do it,...i.e., KC in the winter could be disastrous,...so if we shoot for the winter, we should do it someplace warm (hence my FLA or CA suggestion....

If in the Fall I would have to sorry,...be biased and say New England or Canada,....

Spring, virtually anywhere except Minneapolis where Spring arrives in June...
