Hey Smiley, this sounds really good to me. I have found that naltrexone makes hangovers worse, including worse depression after drinking, so we are on the same page. I'm also finding that my AF days are easy. I had AF days pre-TSM, but the day was dominated with thoughts of, "I could have just one." Those thoughts are gone now on my AF days, I don't even think about drinking anymore. So, that is a big deal. Onward and downward. ;)

Hi Smiley,
Welcome to the board, I wish you all the best on TSM.
Just wanted to post that my shakes are quiet bad after NAL. It does seem to raise the anxiety a bit.
I have noticed though it does it does get better. I am in week 13 now, and the shakes are a bit better than they were at the beginning.
I notice they are worse if I drink coffee the following morning, so a morning after NAL, I try stay away from the coffee.
Hope it all goes well.
6DIJ

Hi All,

I've been checking in most days and reading the threads, I love this site! Just realised I forgot to enter my progress last week. I drank 55 units, so up a bit on the first two weeks (but after reading other's threads, I realise this is quite normal). I managed 3 AF days.

6DIJ, thanks for your post regarding the shakes on nal - i never thought about the coffee. I do drink a lot of it in the mornings so I will try doing without it on the mornings after nal.

Loop, I am keeping a drinking diary, so I will follow the link you posted and participate in the spreadsheet.

Nick, I'm looking forward to being like you and not thinking about Al all the time. Its a lot better already than it was, but I still have that obsession some times.

I'm still feeling really positive and my drinking is definately different on the Nal, I feel I have some degree of control already (like I can decide, and keep to when I want an AF day) and I never felt that before.

Pre TSM 70-80 units
Week 1: 50 UK units, 2 days AF
Week 2: 48 UK units, 4 days AF
Week 3 55 UK units, 3 days AF

This is great Smiley -- definitely "glimpses" of things to come! Congratulations.

My best to you.

Nick
