We may have a philosophy debate on this one. Dr.Eskapa's book suggests that we use AF days as part of our positive reinforcement and thus part of our treatment. Also, if you look at Q's numbers and time to recovery versus my numbers and time to recovery, they are remarkably similar. However, Q was a binge drinker, whereas I was a daily drinker. If we go to a subtraction method of calculating treatment time, then binge drinkers may have unrealistically shorter treatment times than daily drinkers. Also, at the "end" of the treatment, AF days get quite numerous, sometimes 7 days per week. Does that mean that we are not in treatment any longer? Maybe. Maybe not. I think it's a good topic for discussion. Bob
