I maybe out of line here but here it goes. I read some of the post that may have stopped you both from posting. I feel that us alcies share some personalty traits
like being stung a little tight and being sensitive. In saying that I feel that we sometimes say things we don't mean and interpret things that weren't meant. I know you two feel strongly about spreading the word surtive speak as will I when I'm cured, but I think that the cured posting show a strong example that tsm dose work.
I am new here and the cured input is for me the most encouraging and hopeful reading. I get a lot out of everyones posts, the new and the patient but it's the cured one that give me hope and we all need as much hope as we can get. I would really like to have you guys back on the train, your the conductors, hell I don't know how to drive this think ;)

Most of us are still here, although we don't post as often I guess because our lives aren't centered on alcohol anymore. A lot of us still browse the TSM forum daily or nearly so, looking for places we can add value by commenting. Otherwise, you have plenty of support here.

Bob

I agree. Even though I'm not declaring myself cured, alcohol is taking a back seat to many other, healthier pursuits. When that happens, you get busy, and just don't have time to spend hours a day on this board (as I used to do). Plus, the job of spreading the news about TSM on other boards, blogs, etc. is a priority.

I really appreciate all you said in your post Bob, but the part I bolded I personally am so thankful for. I pray that I will be cured one day, and have the graciousness to give back to this community what I can and when I can as you guys do. Your posts are inspirational, although it does seem like a dream to read what you say sometimes - can this really be true?!!

8, it's definitely true, I **** you not. But now there is still work to be done, because as it turns out, alcohol is not actually the cause of, and the solution to all life's problems! :o

Absolutely, but at least once we are no longer addicts we can start to address the other stuff (and I completely agree, we must do that)! And if I don't beat this thing it'll kill me before anything else does - without it, I have a fighting chance I reckon.

Can'tspell,

I'm still around. Just took a bit of a hiatus.
