What I have found is that at nearly nine months in:

I still crave feeling good
Sometimes it means I have a drink
When I don't take nal, I don't even want to drink anymore, I just enjoy everyday things in a way I had forgotten.

At this point, I feel like I have to drink when I do take my nal and I get it now.

Part of this for me is learning to enjoy everything without my drinks, but it's taking a while to convince every one around me.
They are getting used to it. I am not cured, but I am getting close.
My family is the hardest part. They are used to me being the "drunk". So am I.

thanks for posting. it's always good to see the range of experiences. here's hoping you and your family all get on the "who wants to have a drunk around anymore?" page together soon. in the meantime, enjoy the journey, sounds like you are relishing the little joys of normal life

great to hear. I'm right behind you I think.(haven't looked at how many weeks it's been since I updated my graph) lets check in periodically. It's hard to remember to come back here once the obsession starts to really go away
