I am back. First I have used Selincro but I was totally bet by the side effects. Even though it worked great on my drinking, I could not handle to be sick each time I took the pill just because I took a pill. It seemed better to drink something and feel fine. So I broke the regime, due to the strong side effects.
First I was able to handle my drinking by drinking moderately for a few month, but you know how it works with us...

Now I have ordered Nodict and took my first half pill tonight and it seems not to work at all. Buzzzzzz. I have already drank one bottle of wine and still crave more. Actually I have just ordered another bottle for delivery and it will arrive in a few minutes.
After being totally beat up with selincro I did not expect this. I thought 'take it slow, take half a pill' but I did not expect to feel nothing at all. I am very disappointed now, about to cry. But maybe I am expecting too much?
Tomorrow I'll take a whole pill. And I hope to feel something then. Maybe even up-it to 75 mg. I have read that some people do that.

Are there any members who did not feel anything at all the first time while drinking?

Welcome Chicken - please do not put the cart before the horse. Give it time., Take a whole pill and give it at least a few months before going up in dose. You did not get this problem overnight and it is not going to be sorted in one night - so even though you didn't feel anything do not worry ! It is VERY early days yet! Keep taking the pill, and keep posting .....

Thanks Maggie and AO for your encouraging words. Tonight I took the full 50 mg and I definitely feel it now. So thats good!

Another good thing is, that I can feel it working without the bad side effects of the selincro. I hope that will stay the case. The selincro made me feel bad for a whole 2 days after it took a pill. That was impossible for me to keep up.
Especially because I responded so well that I would only drink once a week, and therefore only take a pill once a week with the full amount of SE's each time I would use it. So starting to drink moderately without the selincro seemed like a better option at the time. But, of course I cannot keep my drinking moderately. Thats why I am here and why I started in the first place.

I definitely feel new hope that with the Nal I can succeed!
