Hi everyone. Just received my nal from river tonight. Excellent timing, Monday (diets always start on Monday - this one had better be more successful than them though - lol), and I have just taken my first 25mg nearly an hour ago. Waiting 10 mins for my hour to be up, so i thought I would post on here.

Feeling a little bit tingly, and fuzzy. However, not eaten since early this morning, just about to prepare dinner. Dont feel nauseous though.

Can anyone tell me how, you can know if 25mg is enough or not. I have read on here somewhere that 25mg should cover you for 12 hours, depending on metabolism. I know I have a very sluggish metabolism, I am hypothyroid. It is just that I would prefer not to take more than I need, and also I couldnt believe how expensive these tablets are. Not my primary concern if they help me with this curse of my life. However, if I could get through with only half, it would obviously be much more cost effective. I very rarely drink during the day and if I did, I would definitely take 50mg, say for example if we were going out for lunch and I was going to eat. But normally I drink from about 6 - 11pm only, but nearly every night.

Anybody got any thoughts. Anyhow, day one. 25mg taken, craving about 8. A little anxious, but 6 months from now. Woo, hoo, I will be a normal person. Well perhaps not a normal person, but a normal drinker.

Hi Thanks for the welcome. It is so nice to be amongst others doing the same thing. Although, it does concern me that at about the 3.5 months mark a few people seem to stop posting here. Do you think it is because they stopped trying TSM, or that they are cured and dont think about it any more so no need to post. Interesting?

I have read the book and I know that normally you take 50mg, but I have read on here a few people only taking 25mg and it still working. I also read that 50mg covered you for all day and was wondering whether if you only drank a few hours a day it was needed.

Only drank 4 drinks last night, could have drunk more but it would have been out of habit. So I didnt bother. Although today I am experiencing soooo much fatigue, and i tossed and turned all night in bed.Also got bright yellow pee, anyone else experience any of these side effects?

I have been tired at times on the nal. I also have very vivid nightmares at times that I never had before. As far as the yellow urine, might just be either vitamins if you are taking them or a bit of dehydration if you are not taking in enough liquids other than alcohol.
