my progress seems insignificant so far. I am on week 5 drinking has become more boring and requires more effort to continue drinking but I just hope that even if I still hang around with heavy drinkers that the naltrexone will change the way I feel about drinking. should I make a conscious effort to cut back on drinking or will that automatically happen in time when doing the Sinclair method? drinking is less enjoyable but the still is a social lubricant aspect to it. I have never miss a Nal dose. my numbers are

If the addiction part is cracked, you may be able to use some of the same tips and tricks that normal drinkers use as a hedge against overindulgence -- water in between beers, eat snacks, stuff like that. Have you tried altering your habits in that way?

The key benefit of Sinclair is that it puts us back in control. It's still up to use to use that control, though.

At least that's what I think.
