Hi everyone, I am just checking in. I haven't been here for quite some time and just wanted to see how everyone is doing. I am plugging along-I am not tracking my numbers but I am still drinking heavy. There is a major difference in my drinking though. I am not consumed with getting a drink, I am much more in control when drinking, no fights, few hangovers and overall much better than pre Nal. I will continue my journey, because where I am today is so much better. Yesterday my husband said to me " you have been happy for the past several months, haven't you". I thought about it and Yes, I am happy, much happier than a year ago or even six months ago. I am not cured, but I am much better.

Glad to see you again Bluehen. I know what you mean about progress that isn't necessarily just about the drinking numbers. Clarity of mind is really important, as is not being consumed with the desire to drink. If you keep plugging away you'll chip away more at this nasty habit. And like you said, either way TSM has given you a lot of happiness back
