All the best

Weekly update, my last one.

I have been AF all week.

I want to say thank you to everyone on this forum who have supported me through this process and I owe you all a big debt. The last few weeks I have come to the realization that alcohol is no longer a problem for me. If I decide to drink in the future I will take my NAL and enjoy my drinks with control and reasonable moderation. Today I could take it or leave it, I hope "tomorrow" will be the same, I have confidence that it will. I leave you with one last song that triggers an emotional reaction every time I listen to it:

Please take a look at the cured list for my post there.

I will still be coming by to see how everyone is doing. I wish for you all the success with The Sinclair Method that I have had.

Eric

Oh my, that is THE perfect "cured" song, I love it! I wonder what the personal story is behind the lyrics...

I already covered my congrats., etc., in your Cured post, so I wont clog up the WWW w/ yet more pixels, but thank you so much for sharing your story so succinctly and well...giving all of us still on the quest real hope and encouragement.

At my current rate, I may not be too far behind you, and this may be a good time to post a link to the song that has been my own TSM "Theme Song" the past year: the lyrics express more "hope" than being "cured", but the dream is also ringing true for me ;)

Chrissie,
You have been great through all of this and I thank you for the song, I love the Pretenders and the song is very fitting.

So glad to hear of your progress and I look forward to seeing your cured post.

Eric

Hello fellow TSM'ers,

Just thought I would stop by and see how everyone was doing and update on me. Life is pretty boring in Eric-land, which is a good thing. I just passed the year mark from my last arrest and I am 11 months since my last alcohol induced stupidity. I am almost abstinent in the alcohol department except for the few I had on Christmas eve and the few I had on New Years. I take my nal which makes drinking almost unbearable, it really has changed my attitude. I used to get excited when I would think about having a drink, now I think of ways I can avoid drinking without making people feel uncomfortable.

I appreciate the fact that some of you are struggling, this process was relatively easy for me, but it does work and it does change lives.

Here is hoping that 2013 will be the best year ever for all of you.

Eric

Nice to hear you are still doing well and now it's a full year from the "bad event". Your story and posts have been helpful and am happy to hear about your success.

Wishing you all the best.
