hi tiller,
congrats on the no hangover NYD! me neither - YAY! my mom used to say what you do new year's day sets the tone for the rest of the year. i'm pretty sure i've had some form of a hanover on that day for the last 20 years (until this year), so maybe there is something to it?
you posted some pretty insightful posts over the last week or so. i too have wondering about the daily vs binge drinkers outcomes and timelines. both have shown success but i agree the bingers seem to take the super responding trophy. i HATE the struggle i have to not drink everyday, but like deja said, i feel lucky to have not had some of the issues others have had. my dh doesn't even think i have a drinking problem except for the occasional eye roll he gives when i get my fourth glass of wine (which he thinks is my second or third). segue to your post about tsm not being easy and all of us keeping it real. i get SO much from this board since no one knows i'm doing this. i try to support people here, but i know i don't give half of what i get from all of you (and from those who have posted and moved on). i appreciate everyone's positive thoughts, their advice, and honestly just hearing them bitch about drinking, life, and how tough it can be. i have cried reading through many threads, laughed my a** off at even more, and above all just felt like i'm not alone in this. i'm all for keeping it real!
anyhow, you are a rockstar on this board, tiller. can't wait to see your name on the cured list in 2012!
