Had a a really good week. Total of 12 units and 3 AF days. 0,4,04,2,0, and 2. Even with those good numbers it could have been better as a couple of days i just took a pill because i knew wife was going to want to have a drink. But no worries. I was in control the whole week. No major events that I went to this week so it was a little bit easier than normal. Lots of teenage stress in the house but I have not had the urge to drink my troubles away in a long time. Going to be a pretty tough week ahead. Lots of events this weekend and a fishing trip with the guys for several days at beginning of next week. I will make sure i have plenty of pills and seltzer and try to keep it reasonable but probably wont have a an AF moment - never mind a day while fishing. Again i will try to keep from partaking in the morning and afternoons and save my several drinks until the sun goes down. Good test. Probably wont be on site much this week so i want to wish everyone good luck and hello to all the new faces.

That is a really good week!

Enjoy next week. Don't sweat it too much if your numbers are a little higher.... I'm sure that even letting loose, you'll still be in control!

Good Luck, Reboot. I think that we have to accept that some weeks we are going to have higher numbers due to our social activities. I think remaining in control is my goal during such weeks. Have fun (not too much)!

Dee

Reboot... awesome numbers last week. And you're going to be fine this upcoming week... Dee is right, some weeks are just going to be mroe difficult than others to moderate our consumption. I hope you have a great time and can keep your numbers where you want them!

Well I made it back alive from the fishing trip. Not really exact or great numbers for this week but I will say I never lost control over the past week or so. But I did not do as well as I wanted to do. I guess some old habits are hard to change. This was one of those fishing trips with a bunch of functioning Alcoholics and the drinking started early and went on all day. BUT - I am happy to say no one, including me, was drinking to get drunk. So even though the numbers are really high it was not an out of control week. Just sipping light beers (that was a big adjustment) while fishing and then a couple of cocktails at night when cooking and chilling. So the total number for week 20 was around 90 units and a big zero on AF days. Next week's numbers will not be that good either as part of trip went into week 21. But I am looking to have at least a couple of AF days by Tuesday (my end of week for tracking) and try to get back down into a better zone so I do not do my annual binge from Thanksgiving until January something. Pretty confident that with the help of NAL. TSM and YOU GUYS and GALS I will not be going off the deep end this Holiday season. Hope to catch up over the next week on everyone's progress but for now I have a LOT of work to catch up on and plenty of honey do's to avoid!

Reboot,

You are doing great and you are still very early in this process.

I think this is going to be a great holiday season for you this year, for things are different.

Was there a reason for you to binge from Thanksgiving until January? Or was it just an excuse to continue to drink?

It will be interesting to see what happens.

Jaba

In a party situation like you were in, that speaks volumes. Congratulations!

I am a little nervous about the upcoming holidays, too, but we are in this together and hopefully we will all be strong!
