End of another week and my intake went down very fractionally - which is amazing with all that is going on - we bought a house yesterday! Only looked at it the day before but it was perfect - anyway realtor wants to get ours on the market before I leave for UK so have a ton of things to do - had 6" of snow last night and it is still coming down - am off to work then will be home painting !! No wonder I am drinking !!! I am taking the Nal religiously following the GR though and it does help - sorry I have not been around more this week -just too much other stuff going on !!! It will be a relief to get on the plane on Wednesday!

Readynow - sorry about your mum - how old is she ? And thanks for the prayers - Newlife too - I will take all and any I can get!

Hugs, Maggie xx

Congrats on the new house. Funny as I am just putting mine on the market and am going to sell it really by myself but with the help of Propertyguys.com so this should be interesting.
I am driving up to the Interior of BC today (Kelowna) and have a realtor there that is going to show me some places.
My son and his girlfriend are up there and one of my best friends just moved there too so we will see if I put an offer in too.

Cheeto - I am about to start painting a room that I had decided to repaint some time ago and have lots of different sample colours on the walls so have to paint the whole room - realtor wants ours on the market before I go to UK on Wednesday so I am feeling frantic to be honest!

Good luck with yours - I would not want to do it myself - hate the amount that we have to pay the realtor though!! I need to go and take my Nal !!!

Hugs, Maggie x

Good luck with the painting, thank god my son re-painted my whole place a few years ago but you never know new people sometimes like to change the colors when they move in.
I read a lot of testimonials regarding Propertyguys.com and it sounds as if no one had any problems as they helped the people through the whole transactions, they even have a lawyer to help. The lawyer is also going to help me on the buying side when I need him.
I know realtor fees are crazy where I payed $3,000.00 but if there is a realtor involved when the person buys my place I will have to pay a commission which I have stated I will pay $2,000.00 but depending on the realtor and the price the buyer pays I may have to pay a bit more.
Whew maybe I need to take a Nal soon too, lol!
Hang in there...hugs back atcha!

WAITED an hour .... it was hard - I like a drink at lunchtime and I am stressed !! I think we are having to pay our realtor 5% of the purchase price when he sells ours - it was 6.5% but he came down for us .....

I had had loads of testers all over the walls as I had been thinking of repainting before we decided to move, so HAVE to paint the whole room!! We had a leak fixed in the lounge ceiling and I had no paint left over from doing that years ago - so had to redo the whole ceiling yesterday (it was not white). I keep taking breaks which is not good - LOL

hugs, Maggie x

Hi all - well I am in UK and have been travelling for what seems like forever - three planes and too many hours in layovers! I went round to the local Tesco and looked at the Guinness - and walked away! I am not feeling very well but that could be exhaustion - will see how I feel before going to the hospital tomorrow to see mum. But I was staggered about not buying booze !!!!

This will be my first AF day in for ever - that is without using Antabuse.

Will try and respond to the other posts on the site but mums computer is ancient and the keys stick dreadfully, but will do my best in a day or two .....

Hugs, Sun xx
