I'll update once I give this a try -- I think I've been looking at willpower with more of a "will notice when I have it" approach than a "will strengthen it by using it" one. The only willpower I've used so far (and this is testament to Nal) is a few nights when I've lightly considered drinking and then thought, "Naw. Too much trouble the next day." Even during weeks when I've intended to use willpower to cut down on units/session, I've found myself following the "drink on through" advice rather than the "have a few and quit" advice, thinking (probably naively) that willpower would just show up. Um, that's not the nature of willpower, right?

Interesting and useful! I'll let you know.... If nothing else, a good experiment. I'm very happy with where I am, so it can only get better.
