Completely agree. In fact, I think you bring up an interesting point. Was your desire to drink at that point due to an endorphine based desire or just the knowledge that drinking will numb you up for a few hours. I think it is the later.
Before we became addicted to AL, we drank because we knew it would make us feel a certain way, then over time we became addicted. Nal isn't going to change this, but taking it before you head down this path will prevent you from becoming re-addicted.
As you and I have discussed before, I think we agree that this is one of the reasons why so many Sinclairians end up "AL Celibate."
