Woot, woot! Way to go ducky. Now you know it is possible. About the exercising and endorphins: I don't actually feel the endorphins unless I've done something like a race where the energy from the crowd gets me going. However, I ALWAYS feel better after I've exercised no matter what kind it is. In fact, sometimes it wires me. I'm thinking of switching my routine so that I exercise in the morning because I use alcohol when I get amped after some exercise sessions (my second wind). Maybe I'll try something like yoga or walking the dogs in the evening so that I am a little more calm before bed. I'm sure if you ease yourself into exercising it will help you feel better. Find what works for you...Isn't there a saying "An idle mind is the devil's playgound" ? Makes sense......Hang in there! Your numbers are very encouraging! Keek

Just an update as it's been months since I've posted. I'm still doing TSM, going into month 17, slow but steady progress. Due to side effects (depression, apathy, lethargy) I cut my dose to 25mg for a few months, then down to 12.5. I'm back to 25mg currently and plan to stay at that dose. I fully anticipated my progress would take more time since I was taking a lower dose but I could not handle the side effects at the higher dose. It's like any enjoyment of life was sucked out of me. I am happy with results so far as I've experienced albeit small decline in units every month and I'm even on track with AF days here and there (which never happened prior to TSM). I've been very discouraged at times, even strongly considered quitting around the one year mark when my units actually went back up a couple of months :(
I decided to stick with it though and I'm so glad I have! I have a week left, but so far I'm on track for another decrease in units this month and already 4 AF days :D

Stick with the program, even if it seems like it's not working. I'm proof that it must be working!

Holy thread resurrection Ducky. Glad to see you posting in again. No fear on my end regarding quitting TSM. I'm into week 36, month 8 just completed. I'm averaging about half pre-TSM numbers, and hitting, occasionally 25% pre-TSM numbers. I guess thats my goal. To get down to that 25% level, about 30 per week for me. I'm not ruling out quitting all together, but I'm shooting for that 30/week cap, and 4-5 AF days per week.

Thanks for the update.
