Hi Soulby - I agree with Kris - a week's not going to set you back. Enjoy the brief break from drinking and I hope you are feeling better soon!

It will be a very, very interesting test to see if your alcohol deprivation effect is lessened any when you resume. That has been one of the most amazing parts of this program for me - I no longer feel like I have to make up for lost time if I take a break (that happened for me fairly early on - so hoping the same for you).

Week 12- 28.5 UK (16 Us) 3AF
Well gall bladder has calmed down and now that i am no longer nauseous all the time i started drinking again. Not bad really given i have had visitors staying all the time who are heavy drinkers. V up down-still get ticked off at how unpredictable this is- can not tell when i start whether it will be a night where i think- had enough after a couple of drinks or want to plough on and finish the bottle. I suppose all i can say is the fact that i do have nights where i only want to drink 2 drinks helps me to know that Nal is having an effect over and above the 'no hangover/strange clarity etc'. Well i shall just have to carry on, inspired by the patience and determination of others on this board who have been doing this longer with less effect. The only fly in the ointment is my Nal still hasn't arrived from Allday- i am very disappointed and not a little concerned. i turned down an offer from chris to supply cos i believed them about posting and now im not sure! Dont think its worth them being a bit cheaper if they are this unreliable.-
dont understand why my sig isnt showing weeks 11 and 12!

chin up there SBTS! :P

are all-day chemist that much cheaper? If not, I think I'll stick with river for now - still have a month or so's supply left.

Regarding your signature, there is probably a limit to the total characters - usually 255. You may need to combine the first four weeks into 'month 1' to fit everything in.

Hi 1-4 thanks for tip. Yes all day are about 1/2 the price - it is worth it so long as you allow longer than the other ones to deliver.

Week 13 and 14
Just realised i hadn't posted last week. Well started back to work after long break at the begining of last week, also all visitors finished for summer so back in some kind of routine.
nothing to remark about wk 13 - 32.5 units, 3 AF. bit up again.
Week 14 29.5 Units, 4 AF
Well it was a bit wierd. i was surprised when i totaled units as i thought i had drunk more. had strange experience on sat. I was meeting an old friend for lunch- we meet 3/4 times a year and i always take the car with the intention of not drinking too much and always end up taxiing home. What happened on sat was i arrived and started to drink and realised i had completely forgotten to take my Nal :!: I panicked a bit thought about taking one but realised i had used up the emergency stash in my purse cos of the delay in my last stash arriving. So i ploughed on- but something wierd happened - without any effort i drank only one glass. I didn't have the old big buzz which i was expecting and sipped my wine very slowly with no effort. My pal kept complaining that i was drinking so slowly and for the first time in our history i drove home. I don't understand what was happening all i can think is that maybe the nal i had taken the previous evening was still in my system. I was due to go out later for my daughter's birthday and was worried about drinking but i found a tab in the car and took it an hour before dinner. I drank modestly but then went back to a friends and ended up falling asleep on the sofa having drunk nearly as much as pre TSM.
Well overall the trend is heading down. I have booked to go to Oz at the end of Nov and really would be delighted if i'm 'cured' by then.

First time driving home, sipping slowly... These are "glimpses" of things to come, I think, and are very good signs. I think during the long TSM road it's good to recognize the glimpses as you have here. Signs of good things to come I think. ;)

I agree with Nick SBTS - it would be great if you could go to OZ a cured woman!

Friggin' awesome Soulby!!! I've done a lot of studying of the graphs of the cured at different stages. I've never seen one that looked like that at any stage that wasn't very close to the cure.
