Hey newlife I was just watching the news and I thought of you. Are you batten down the hatches, or isn't that storm coming your way?

Jaba, thanks for checking. Yes so they say but they also say that a lot and it never happens. I am a "nothing bad can ever happen to me kind of girl", so I am not worried. We are still going ahead with our plans to pack up for Anna Maria Island tomorrow.

What is 'packing up for Anna Maria Island?' Did I miss something ? I have not been on the computer all day pretty much - gosh darn it, I go away for a few hours and all sorts happen! And WHAT storm ? I don't watch the news - too depressing - I always think that if something newsworthy happens that I need to know about, Hubs will tell me .....

Maggie don't worry. There is a hurricane headed for Florida. I am in Tampa but going to Anna Maria Island tomorrow, a beautiful island just west of here. it will be fine. Most of the drama is always media driven. Most of the hurricanes predicted never come. A good lesson for us all. But Jaba is so sweet to worry about me. Can you come live here and do the Kitty thing for me??? I deserve it more than Steve. xoxo Newlife

Yeah - everywhere we each live has it's problems doesn't it ? But I know and understand the tornadoes - hurricanes or earthquakes would freak me out !
