Hey Zip,

Glad to hear you are okay. 30 days! That is terrific! Perhaps the best thing right now is to not drink at all like you mentioned. AF days put things in perspective. Although I still drink too much on weekends, at least AF during the week allows me to keep some sort of balance. This will help you too. Keep up the good work.

Best wishes,

Yes, this is so true about AF days - why is it that we can have AF days 4-5 days in a row then just because it's the weekend and we are free, or with friends, or feel we need to go "out" that we are "unable" to be AF??????

Does habit just kick in then and we are unable to resist alcohol????? I think this is where the therapy mentioned in Dr. Sinclair's trials worked. He did say that it was not necessary but that intervention was helpful for some. I think many of us would have greater success with therapy or intervention of some kind to help us get over this habit component - or compulsion component - or whatever it is - rather than just expecting naltrexone to work on its own.

Otherwise if it was just that after 4-5 days we needed to drink we could choose any 4-5 day period, say from Thursday to Monday to be AF, then drink Tuesday, Wednesday and repeat!!! But of course we don't

Hey TSMer's !!! I'm still sober and have decided for myself that complete abstinence is the best way and have gotten back into the middle of AA. I am really happy, more importantly extremely grateful I'm sober and have survived another dreadful experience with alcohol.

Going through my stuff I found my script for Neltrexone, 50mg, 49 pills. I’d like to sell it, if anyone is interested please send me a message.

Many thanks to all who have been there for me, best wishes on your journey’s.
Zippy’s Grateful!!!

Hey, there Miss Zip-Zip! So many times I've wondered "how's it goin' w/ Zippy???" It sounds like you've found the right solution for yourself, and are back w/ your old "peeps" again...I'm very happy for you. Best to you, Max, & Big Foot! :D
