Hess - I had that same, exact Red Sox hat. I loved it. So well worn and faded. Now seems to be gone. I'm miss it. But probably not with the same intensity you do. Still...

I agree that there is no point in beating yourself up. I also agree that the best revenge is a renewed set of goals. They don't have to be lengthy and you don't have to succeed in some immediate, regimented fashion. But there's also no need for despair. Plenty of others have been right where you are and gone on to succeed.

I know you can do it.

I agree with El that you need to keep that naltrexone with you. Get one of those keyring pill capsules. Just say its for heartburn or allergies or whatever. Yeah, it's dorky. But so is recycled fried pickle all over the place.

Dust yourself off, mount up and keep riding.

Haya Hess!!!

I have to say that's a really cool hat, sorry for your loss! :| I'll never forget having to give my meme (blanket) up, man that was thirty years ago, I'm remembering it like it was yesterday. I was a serious thumb sucker. That sounds funny.

Great read, you gotta get all that sh*t out, leaving that crazyness in your head is dangerous. What the heck I'm reliving my golden drinking days with ya. Hang in there, you can do it!!!

Hesster, I always enjoy reading your threads - they are entertaining! - and seeing your progress, good job! I've not joined in on your thread, 'cause I'm already doing WAY too much partying here! ;)

But I wanted to know how you pasted that picture (COB'd, no less) into Ketch's thread. Do you have to write code w/ an image source? Impressive! Thanks for dressing up these threads.

Chrissie

I'd like to know how you did this too. I tried to copy and paste it didn't work, so I placed a picture up on the web then added the address to my post. It's ok, would be really nice to post pictures directly like you did. Chrissie's right, it certainly does dress up the pages.

Zippy, I pasted that link into my browser and it just took me to my own Google Account sign in, not to a picture of Max :( .

Andy puts in links to pix that work, but you have to have a website to post them from...

Hi Chrissie and Zippy,

To insert an image directly into a post, just use the img tags from the toolbar above and wrap them around an image URL. For example...

http://www.whiskybase.com/images/whiskies/17935.png

...becomes an embedded image once the tags are wrapped around it...

Image

I can't wait to see what you two end up using to "dress up" the forum. Hope this helps.

Hess, you and I are at similar points. It seems there has to be some kind of issue like this. Superbowl was one for me, too.

I think it happens to everyone. I keep the nal with me, it makes it easier. As someone else pointed out, get a pill case and put it on your keyring. It might be dorky, but it will save you a lot of trouble!

Chin up! Nal on!
