Hi all,

Fortunately I am on a short holiday break now, but I also found out I felt so bad because of a stomach virus which is still hunting me (I still have problems eating meat and so...), and am sleeping very bad, but had nothing to drink on friday and saturday and yesterday two small glasses of wine (to not upset my stomach extra...), so alcoholwise am doing fine since then.

I will start tracking again from now on and hoping the side effects of not sleeping and the nightmares will subside soon (how long did that take with you?)

Btw am only taking 25 mg's now to start again.

Hi all, good progress, mainly due to stomach virus... Which I don't like of course but it helps me at keeping my intake low... Nothing new further to report except the holiday is fine with nice people (and bbq food, which I can't eat right now...)

I surfed today and finally feel my stomach condition is back to normal. The waves were rough though! I had the following intake since starting again; friday 0, saturday 0, sunday 2, monday 5, tuesday 3. Today 0 untill now.

I start feeling less pity party and wanting to be a part of normal life again and go out and do normal things which energize instead of draining my energy by drinking and letting my life pass by and regret later. So good stuff! And slept really well last night without any nightmares!! That's heaven for me.

Sounds like you are on the right track with those numbers this week GA. It sounds like you are a very active person and in the past most of the activities included drinking. It makes it hard to control your drinking if all of your friends are partying it up - the problem is most of them have the ability to stop while I assume you have a tendency to keep going. I have the same issues. And after a couple of weeks on the pill I am still drinking way to much - but I have only had a couple of times when I got out of control. And both of those times were all day and next morning drink fests and I forgot to take a second "booster" pill in order to keep the NAL levels high enough to work. I am certainly not encouraging you to go on a binge but if you are starting to get into 6-8 hours of drinking try taking another half dose. It may keep you from the 3 day partying and two days in bed recovering cycle.

Best of luck

So, catched some good waves and had excellent normal endorphins!
