ukblond you are an inspiration!!! I CAN'T WAIT to tell folks that I'm just drinking you-name-it-non-alcohol-drink! How empowering that must feel! I watched my hubby get loaded last night and unlike before where I would be jealous and angry, I was just feeling sad for him... baby steps but this has got to work for me.

As far as the sweets go, not sure about you but the thought of putting something sweet/sugary in my mouth makes me want to vomit - I heard it's because of the alcohol and to be honest I'm kinda looking forward to wanting and enjoying a piece of good chocolate cake - strange. If it's a problem for you .. is the nal working on that? interesting pill this is and good luck there.

I just started this last night so it's all new but your story makes me smile - there's actually hope.

Thanks for the update!
Marianne

Thanks, yes I ate a load of chocolate last night. I did want to have some wine but I remembered it'd be stupid to break my AF run, really stupid and who knows one day it might be the wrong drink and the start of a slippy slope.

So no wine, no alcohol. 25 days.

I've not been around here for a while.

I am still AF - 99 days today. Occasionally I think I might like to have a drink, but it's easily overcome. My life is changing now and staying sober/AF is incredibly important. Not worth the risk alcohol could bring.
