Hi everyone.

I'm 34 & have had a drinking problem since I was 20. In the last 6 or so years I have had long periods of hiding spirits in coffee & drinking through the day. This stopped when I became pregnant 3 years ago but started again when my child was 6 months old. It progressed to 1/2 to one bottle Vodka per day & often wine on top.

I began taking Nal daily in November 15 & stumbled across TSM in December 15 & commenced the method. First 2 months I had no change in my drinking & then it lowered for a few weeks. However I encountered a traumatic event, caused by drinking which led to me drinking during the day again (still doing TSM).

Now at week 19 I am seeing a reduction in drinking again. Vodka became unpleasant so that has stopped in the last week - now it's 2-3 glasses of wine per eve. I would like to track my weekly progress here as a personal diary.

I'm in the process of organising a Skype session with Joanna from C3.

I've posted a few times & received lot's of support - so thank-you everyone :)

Sounds like your brain was reaching out for it's "old friend" before it finally figured out that doesn't work anymore. Congratulations and well done!

Mumofone,

I am glad you are reaching out to JoAnna for she is awesome and very helpful.

It sounds like the nal is working for you, and you are making tremendous progress in such a short time!

Keep us posted,

Jaba
