Hello
Here goes!
So helpful to read other people's progress and set backs, so I'm jumping in.
I'm feeling really groggy today, brain foggy which is disappointing as I had my first AF day in 9 months yesterday, maybe withdrawal effect.
Forward!
Today I'll take 50mg Nal, find myself already looking forward to a glass of red.

Stated TSM Fri 28th Aug 2015
Before TSM 10 to 19 units most days/ average 91 units/week - no AF days

Fri 50mg Nal - 7 units
Sat ~25mg Nal - 6 unit
Sun ~25mg Nal - 19 units
Mon ~37.5mg Nal - 4 units
Tues ~37.5mg Nal - 13 units
Wed no Nal, AF day (1st in 9 months!)

Terez - really looking good !!! And wonderful on your first AF day on so long - it took me a lot longer than that before I had my first AF day! You might be feeling that way because of the Nal - I find after 5 days on Nal I have to have a break from it ..... or as you said, could be withdrawal - I am not sure ! Anyway - well done and good to have you here !

Hugs, Maggie x

Terez,

Do you remember how long it took you to get to the full dose? There is someone having a hard time that posted in the "Be Prepared" section with "Poll: Titration Question". I told him how I titrated my dose to 50 mg, but I cannot remember being nauseated. Do you have any helpful hints?

Jaba

Jana,
I took full 50mg dose 1st time, then went down to 25mg for a few nights on others here recommendation. I'm back to 50mg. It doesn't make me nauseated, just makes my mind a bit foggy, headachy, I think. Gonna stay the course. 13 units last night, a rocky 1st week but did have one af day which is huge for me.
My husband starts today at 25mg, he's sensitive to everything. Fear he'll feel nauseous. Cross fingers. He wants to cut down too. Love reading these posts. Inspires me. Gives me hope. Thanks
T

Hi.
On our annual beach break for the week.
Not much has changed. License to jump in the ocean every morning to clear the hangover.
Watch the sunset from the private pool with vodka cocktails but never w/o a Nal an hour befor. Husbands on day 5. He'll move up from 25mg to 50mg tonight.he's really sensitive to meds, so wanted 4 days at 25mg.
Think the Nal makes us both a little edgy, little spacy ... anyone else find that?
Like I left my bags up the front of the bus on Friday and got off at my stop. Had to chase after it to get them back. Never done that before. Spacy. Hub forgot to pack the linen shirts and straw hat that he lives in at the beach ... unlike him.
Both feeling hopeful. I've read the book twice now. He went to addiction psychiatrist who works with TSM last week. I'll go for first time next week. Stay the course. See where we're at in a few months. Inspiring to read the posts here. Thank you for the encouragement and insights.

Hub progress, so there's something of a record as doubt he'll keep one and I'm not gonna nag - he's taking the pill an hour before!

Terez,

I wasn't sure if the spacey feeling was the nal. or me going through the change or both. When we went to Mexico I forgot my bathing suits, so I can totally understand what you are saying. I think it does get easier, or I have just found ways to check and recheck things. At least I am not leaving the water running or the stove top on and starting a fire, for if the would happen I think my family might check me the Nursing Home for dementia! ;)

It sound like you guy are making progress, keep up the good work and keep posting,

Jaba
