Hi all,
Well, one week in and something has definately changed. Overall my units for this week were high for the number of drinking days (63) but i had three AF days, one two and a half bottle binge and wine has started tasting odd. I've also not drunk before the dinner any night...and tonight, i came home, spent time with the kids, put them to bed, took nal, waited an hour and ate a plate of nachos with melted cheese and salsa...and wow...they tasted good.
All very odd. I realise this may be the honeymoon(with the exception of the major binge night), but whatever it is it is different..and i feel more in control, and as a result less depressed.
I am also getting a lot of strength from reading all the posts on here...especially when i woke up from the two and a half bottles feeling awful, reading others success helped me a lot!

Looking forward to another week of oddness and difference in my drinking habits...

Cheers all,

Jazz.

Hi Jazz - That may be the honeymoon effect. I've noticed now that food isn't tasting so great either. Hope that means I lose some of my "wine weight." Yep, maybe I can start buying Mogen David wine....the really cheap stuff.

Good to have you here with us.

HG
