My GP is currently reading Dr Eskapa's book and whilst he has an open mind, he is starting to ask me questions about Naltrexone treatment following TSM that I feel unqualified to answer.

Would it be OK for my GP to join this forum so he may post his questions directly to Dr Roy, or is there a more appropriate avenue?

i think it would be wonderful if your GP joined this site. I'm not sure what the best way for him/her to liase with Dr. Eskapa would be, but he/she could certainly email him from this site.

I personally think leverage through the medical community is potentially the greatest force multiplier we have for TSM.

Who was it that actually got their DR on the phone with Dr. Eskapa? It might be a good starting point to find that thread and see how that came about. (I can't seem to locate it, but it was within the last 2 months)

Hi WTE,

You may be referring to me. See the sixth post on this thread:

I completely agree that one way to get doctors on board with TSM would be by getting them to read the real life stories on this board. This board represents reality on the ground. A good analogy is stories in the paper about war. The story that says, "four thousand soldiers dead so far" is rendered virtually meaningless in our minds seconds after reading it. However, if you see actual film footage of people having their limbs ripped apart, the reality of what's going on hits you like a punch in the face. This board is our "film footage" of what our daily journey is like on TSM. This board says so much more than a one-sentence summary of the studies that words can't capture it. When a bunch of doctors start reading this board, TSM will be FAR closer to reaching the mainstream. So, by all means, get this doctor on board!

As long as your doctor believes the earth revolves around the sun and not vice versa, I'd say go for it.
