This is interesting and, as W2E alluded, correlates well with Sinclair's research subject. They had responses in the 3-4 month range - and they drank 37 upw, on average.

Thanks for taking the time to figure this out, mab!

Fascinating. I hope Dr. Sinclair takes a careful look at what you have found. Thanks for sharing this important information.

It would improve spirits and confidence so much to have a more accurate prediction of the timeline of results.

It appears that the trend is one drink less per day per month.

Hi Mabelee,

Thanks for the information. How does this translate into units of alcohol (US/UK) per day per month?

All the best.

Mabelee

Thankyou for your input on the weekly weakness point , I think it is very important .
The arbitrariness of seven I've thought of before . If you drink on alternate days
you''ll get 3 in one week and four in the next . If only there were eight days a week or even six then I could get away with shaving on just alternate days more satisfactorily , I've often mused . :)

Oh elf, I always suspected you are a muser. I hereby dub you the board's official muse. . . (another great word!)

mabelee -- I brought this thread to the attention of Roy Eskapa, who promised to share it with Dr. Sinclair. Your "startling discovery" gave hope at a time it was badly needed by many. Thank you so much.
