New Moderator

Hi All,

I have invited "minneapolisnick" to be moderator on this board and he has accepted. Nick has done a nice job of welcoming new members and being a good source of sound, thoughtful advice. With Marbella's departure a while back and the increasing post frequency, Lena suggested that Nick would make a good choice for a new moderator. I concur.

Nick is level-headed and will moderate as Lena and I have - giving wide latitude and only deleting posts that are patently offensive. Thankfully we have little of that to worry about.

Welcome, Nick, and thanks for your help!

Yes, this is a great idea! Glad he accepted because we all know his dedication to tsm and this forum!

Just from reading the forum..... I think Nick is a great choice.

He has been very friendly and helpful to me in my short week of being on TSM.

BTW why did Marbella leave? Did he or she stop TSM?

I am confused too about marbella. She seemed to have gotten discouraged with TSM and had gone over to MWO site. I have not been following that site. But I thought I read her name in the "Cured" thread. So it would be nice to know what happened with her quest.

AND I too, welcome and say thank you to Nick. And for all of the work it takes to host this site.

Thanks everyone, I truly appreciate it. And now that there's a new sheriff in town, you should all know that things are going to be completely different around here.

Totally kidding. My goal is to emulate N101CS and Lena and if something comes up that is controversial, I will make no move without their input and consent. And Lena is still here, I'm just helping her out.

I LOVE it that you have been "promoted", Nick. I have always been impressed with your dedication and attention to this board. I honestly don't know how you do it, but am really thrilled to know you will be one of the ones not only on here commenting on just about everyone, but in the "background" as well.
