I have a question that I hope someone can answer for me.

I wasn't supposed to work tonight so I popped a Nal at 1:50pm, thinking, 'Cool, I'll have a beer this afternoon'. NOW, as it turns out, I have to work 4:30-9:30pm. I have already taken the Nal and my question is this, can I wait to drink until 9:30pm?

I hope someone can help me. I don't really need things to go bad for me with this.

Thanks!

My understanding is that daily drinkers who pop one 50 mg nal in the morning are covered for the day. I believe 50 mg lasts for 24 hours in your system. It certainly would remain effective for 12 hours. 50 mg that is. I suppose if you wanted to be super conservative, you could take another half tablet (25 mg) if you wanted to, but I doubt it's necessary.

No problem waiting to drink. Even if the Nal didn't completely cover you, it would be "good enough". Drinking without it isn't good but even that would take time to undo progress. If it ever happens again and you're worried about it, take another or perhaps split one in half. An extra small (25-50mg) dose after that many hours will be perfectly safe (studies have shown no detrimental effects at doses up to 300mg / day IIRC).
