So I needed to have blood work done for a dermatologist and the only thing that came back negative was my liver panel. I have been trying to self admin TSM so I was never checked prior. I have only been trying the TSM for a few weeks. off and on.

For those who have had high results what were your numbers? Im kinda freaked out thinking maybe I have cooked my liver or caused extensive damage. I don't seem to have the typical signs such as jaundice etc but im still worried.

For those who had elevated numbers would you care to post ?? Once you cut back on the alcohol did the numbers return to normal ?? What did your Dr tell you in regards etc.

I have found a local Dr who does administer TSM. So going forward I am going to consult with him but for the time being would like to hear from you guys.

It's not abnormal for drinkers to have high enzyme levels from what I've read, Axkiker. The doc will be able to tell you if it's worrisome or not, but in most cases Naltrexone is far, far less stress on the liver than drinking is. There could be other causes for the high levels too, the doc will probably go over that with you.

There is a problem with going on and off the Nal though. Your opioid receptors get upregulated from taking the Naltrexone, so when you drink without it you're readdicting yourself at double-speed. One of the prime rules of TSM is to never drink without the Nal, as you'll be taking one step forward and two steps back.
