I have been taking Nal for about 3 months.

Weeknights I am doing ok. Average daily intake is 4 units.

However, on the weekends; I have started to spike up a bit to 7 units.

I take the pill about 1 hour before the first drink; however, on Saturday, it's much earlier in the day.

Do I need to add another dose to ease the urges later in the evening?

The suggestions I've seen say that you're covered for 12 hours from the time of the first dose and that if you're going to be drinking beyond that time, redose in the 10th hour and wait an hour before proceeding.

That being said, spikes in TSM are entirely normal. Your receptors upregulate before they give up the ghost and higher craving and consumption are normal at that time. If you see it coming, try some of the suggestions that I posted about in your other thread.
