NAL works for all forms of drinking, but what I'd suggest is having a cocktail two to three times per week. You only need to have one drink to facilitate an extinction episode/unrewarded drinking. I'd wager these little episodes will not result in a binge or hasn't from anyone else to my recollection. I began this with just shy of a year of abstinence so I never was without control. Meaning I basically forced a few drinks each week for the first maybe eight weeks. Less and less after that. The click of extinction happened around the fifth month. Now, some people take a year and yes should continue having extinction episodes. The thread is still not unspooled if you will. Hth. Welcome.
