I think this article would be more powerful if it did not ridicule the spiritual dimension to recovery. I recognize not everyone is open to that but many are (myself included) and it can be a powerful mechanism to achieve the desired outcome.

Interesting points. It doesn't originate from me. I'm not certain it's trying to lure or catch anyone. Instead I think its intention is to generate discussion. Regarding a perceived assault on spirituality I didn't feel any abrasion of that ilk. I have a vibrant spiritual component. In fact the reengineered twelfth step encourages the sowing of your spirituality.

Perhaps I read into the intention behind the writing. I've been known to do that from time to time.
