okay, so I have started the Sinclair method on Wednesday, august 5th, with incredible results. That being said, I know I am probably in my honeymoon phase.
I am a binge drinker. I can usually go long periods of time with out drinking and then when I would drink, I would almost certainly get myself in to some kind of trouble, make incredibly horrible decisions, break things, and continue drinking for 3 days. It was horrible. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.
I know nobody can give me an absolute, definitive answer, but just curious if anyone has had any experience. I know it says the honeymoon effect can last anywhere from 4-8 days then drinking will go back to pre TSM levels. That statement terrifies me!!!!
After my honeymoon phase, is there a chance I will drink to black out, go on a binge and get into a lot of trouble. I guess I just want to know if that has happened with anyone. I really cannot afford something like that because those binges are devastating for not only me, but anyone who comes into contact with me.
This all being said, I was probably a binge drinker because every time I would drink it would be so bad and I would have to spend months "picking up the pieces" plus no one would let me drink around them because they knew what would happen.
Since starting the Sinclair method, I have drank more frequently, but only two and up to six drinks on each occasion. Never getting drunk, never wanting more, I think I'm just happy to be able to drink with out all the negative consequences. Hopefully that will go away over time too. Like I said, just wanted to share my thoughts and see if anyone has had similar experiences. Thank you all and hoping you are all having an incredible day!!!
