Well there's been a few and I join their ranks with a broken ankle .
Oh sigh , these are the breaks !
Caught my foot in a hole last night ( totally sober ) , and thought it was a sprain
i had a few a few years ago and I think that weekened my ankle . Although it was very painful I didn't expect that . Nice barbecue apart from that .
So i've pain killers in the paracetamol family which are ok with NAl .
No drink today , no urge either ;
WTE ? You ok there ? Not too much pain ?
Well I'll be around won't be going out and about for a while , so I'll continue checking
in . I'd like to take a break from drinking if it prooves halfway easy , see how it goes.
All the best everyone .

Elfern - so very sorry to hear this!

How is the AF going? You can do it. Although from you other post looks like you are switching to a different drink? Either way, best of luck -- hope the pain is not too bad and you are able to get through the healing quickly.

Please keep posting to let us know how you are doing (just busy and trying to concentrate on other things)! I am not posting much these days but still trying to keep up with everyone and cheering everyone in the background for a bit.

Wishing you the best!

Happy to hear you happy
You sound in fine fettle , high morale is a great boon , pulls us through the troughs
alters our perspective for the best .
best wishes to you too .

And PS . AF 's are the best , low unit days are second to it but like to see that very much . What I'm sure is really good is more than one AF that comes naturally with no craving . I've forced em before but long for getting say the weekend free Dr E
mentions .
Let us know if you do that happy .
