This study: "Targeted Use of Naltrexone Without Prior Detoxification in the Treatment of Alcohol Dependence:
A Factorial Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial," which I think is what everyone refers to as the COMBINE study, measured relapse. It sounds to me like this study is what the Dr in this article was pulling his information from.
Yes, Dr. Sinclair did report better results. However, I'm wondering if these specific measure of success (or perhaps how it is being reported) doesn't really report the results of working the sinclair method.
