Does anyone else think that this website/forum is not very 'user-friendly?

I'm a long-time forum person (even was on some in the 1990s). I've definitely seen worse. The main problem is that newer posts appear at the end of the thread, so you have to click onto the last page to read the latest post. But, that seems to be the standard way forums work these days. Other than that, I just log on and click "View Active Topics" and you get a good picture of what's going on. Starting new threads, etc... is very user-friendly, IMO.

There are a bazillion subforums, which can be awkward for conversation. I'm sorta like Barry, except that I click on "View new posts." The search feature is also handy, if I'm trying to find an old thread. I don't usually go noodling around on the main board index -- too much of a pain.

Is there a specific thing you're finding difficult? Maybe we can suggest another approach.

to read new posts, click the arrow pointing to the orange box on the left of the thread title. It will send you to your first unread post.
