Springer hasn't posted all month . Has anyone ( Lena or N101CS ) had any news by PM?
Hope to see Marbella soon too .
And they were both wonderful .

just a quick questions. I noticed in your progress (not to discourage you) but we are at the same place. I noticed your drinking went up this past week. I have times like this too....I know it was supposed to happen at 2-3 weeks but I am concern that I still have drunken black outs at 6 weeks....should that still be happening?

Elfern -- Yes, I have been in touch with both of them. Both are "on hiatus". You may notice a few other missing names as well.

Sillygrits -- Eskapa reminds us that we are all different and will progress at different rates (pp. 116-118). Some of us have an uptick in drinking at 2 to 3 weeks; some earlier, some later, some not at all. The important thing is to keep following TSM and expect meaningful results in four to six months. Expect ups and downs in the meantime. Keep coming back!

It's too bad about Springrider and Marbella. She was an excellent moderator, and I will miss her. Can you update us on whether Springrider is still using TSM successfully? He was just a bit ahead of me and I was looking forward to his progress reports. I thought these two were deeply committed to this cause, and to helping the larger community.

I hope this isn't a 'hair flip' sort of thing - open Message Boards need to remain open to all kinds of people and opinions to remain viable. If someone gets on your nerves, the easiest thing to do is just ignore their posts. Usually those who are truly abrasive and/or don't fit in fade away, and those who don't go away learn to fit in and add a bit more complexity and depth to the conversations.

Just an observation based on long experience.

Both took a break. I don't feel it's my place to comment beyond that.

Yes, G4M, they both have given blood sweat and tears spreading the accurate, well-founded information about TSM and supporting those who are using the method, first by posting on MWO and then by growing this board. As a fellow founding member who shared their vision for this board as a safe place fellow TSM users could share solid information and support, I miss their presence very much (even SR's, um, "late night" posts).

So, forgive me if I take umbrage at speculation about their motives for taking a break. Let's just be grateful for their yeoman work and let it go.

Please, no drama. Take it to the boxing ring if you must. You may see a thread from me there soon.

Oh boy , this is rather sad .
I understand it's delicate and diplomatic for Lena who can't be pressed here .
Hiatus makes me think of something stuck in the gullet . Yes , It'd be nice to get over it . Hope they do . I hope above all they stick with tsm .
If ever you lurk SR and Marbella see my big heartfelt thanks here .

Yes Marbella, I am not really believing you are MIA! Baby come back! I miss my pal! Are you upset about something? ART

Yes very true, I really think it is easy enough to skim and skip. It certainly seems like we are all VERY INTELLIGENT (Well most of us  )

Just an observation based on long experience.
Please, we have enough to deal with, let's stay light and laughing on the girl page and sincere on our progress, who cares about the "voyeurs" assuming they are not a "spy"! ART

I've not talked to Marby, but have talked to Springer Rider.

SR is still happily following TSM and says he'll check back in to the board and update everyone when he hits the 6-month mark.

SR told me he felt he was just repeating himself over and over in most of his last posts, so he didn't see any value in continuing to comment. I highly doubt there are any hard feelings on his part nor do I think "something happened" that drove him away. This venue simply isn't for everyone. My guess is you'd have a better chance of running into SR over at MWO than here. MWO tends to have a little more back and forth discussion, which I suspect he likes.

I'm one of the first 4-5 people who came from MWO to this board and I admit as time goes on, I just don't spend nearly as much time here as what I used to. At one point I knew everyone on the boards, now it is hard to keep up with all the new people. My main drive for continuing to participate is that I see this venue as part of my treatment. I'm here for the long haul and to hopefully help others in the process.
