I just thought I would share something for those of you who are struggling with nausea with Nal. Have you considered getting a motion sickness band to wear while taking Nal? It might help. I bought one before I went on a cruise and I wore it the first couple of days while taking the medication. I ordered my bioband from www.bioband.com. You just wear it on your wrist. It may or may not help but it is worth a try. Fortunately for me I did not experience any severe side effects from taking Nal. I just hope this might help some of you.

Best to all of you.

Here is what the pharmacist at River says about nausea and naltrexone
1. Take the medications with food
If you have no appetite, try eating something - even if it is just a cracker

2. Avoid taking gravol because gravol and alcohol don't mix well
Gravol may give you a "high" when mixed with alcohol and is often abused by drinkers

3. Transderm Scop is a good solution for nausea.
It is an anti-nausea patch you can wear throughout the day.

4. Stemetil tablets are a very good anti-nausea drug
RiverPharmacy.ca is going to try and add this drug to our website for your convenience

5. BioBand (The pharmacist wasn't familiar with this particular technique, but it looks promising)
