Miracles do exist .
After a mere litre ,over two hours. I was struggling, ( is this Me ? )I put the cap back on my large bottle of cider . The red light came on in my brain .
Stop . Usually the green light would burn for hours and I'd go on and on and on...and on and on ....
But It's 8 pm and I'm done with it and free . :D

Yes, expect more days like that. I myself went through an "I don't want anymore" experience last night. I've been told that these days pop up unexpectedly, but we soon return back to old drinking levels in the first few months of TSM treatment. So, be excited and encouraged when they do happen, but do not be discouraged when they do not.

Bob

Yes But for the height chart, can I wear my heels? That would only be fair!
WOW! a conference sounds like a way fun thing.....That made me smile thinking about meeting all of you very impressive (on screen) people.

Of course till then, thank the providers for this site, it was so very good of them to take the time to help us with such caring communication

WTE . yeah, you must keep hope . you had a tough time getting airborne with your medics prob . Let's hope that fades and then you soar , it could be sooner than you think . As someone said yesterday we're all at different rates but we're noting more and more it does work .

BOB . I know what you mean and it does leave an uneasy feeling , the rug'll be pulled . I've no idea when but expect a dip and down phase . It's also good to have an eye on beyond that . Extinction kicking in around two months things could be really good at 4, or 6 months . i think of going for abstinence again maybe at six months .

Good on you Elfern. As previously stated, more of these are to come. They are incredibly encouraging aren't they?

I do my best to no dwell on the bad days, but rejoice the good ones and Thank GOD for Dr. Sinclair.

I dunno - I cannot feel anything happening...I am holding on but worried. Really worried...I feel absolutely no changes whatsoever.

8 f***ing weeks and nothing.

Seriously - I do not think dropping 10 or 15 units is real progress - and not sure I have been accurate.

It is Thursday and I am in a real downward slump. Excuse me while I sign off for awhile. The damn psychiatrist who prescribed this in the first place wants to see me...just so he can collect on my insurance, of course. Ticks me off - but whatever. Everyone needs to make a living. Funny how that is - !!

Some have had little progress, then a quantum leap in the third month. Your pattern looks a lot like mine did. I did not drop in drinking (although I did in craving) until week 8, when I had to go on hiatus because of the illness. I was going to report a big drop week 8 but then all that other stuff happened. How's the craving? Would you chop off someone's hand at the wrist to get a glass af chard away from them if it were 7pm and you hadn't your wine yet?

You'll get there! Eight weeks already! You're on the verge!

Lena
