N101CS, are you still around?

How are things going with you?

This is just a guess. . .but N101CS is much farther into this cure. Maybe he's just not as into spending a lot of time discussing alcohol addiction? (Disinterest. That would be cool!)

N101CS setup this site and seemed to be friends with Dr. Sinclair.

I can't image he would just go away.

I PM'ed RV- he replied that he has been extremely busy, but all is well on the drinking front- no doubt he will fill us in when he has time.

Hi Everyone,

I'm sorry I've been kind of quiet lately. This is primarily because I took a contract job that involves programming every night after a full day at the office.

Not that it's related to this forum, but I see some very dark clouds on the horizon as far as our economy goes. What you're seeing in the news is only part of the story. Each day, it becomes more clear that not only will our government fail to help the situation, it will make it worse. Like a squirrel in September, I'm hoarding nuts (money).

So... I'm just busy working is all.

On the drinking front, still pretty much where I was a few weeks ago: About 12-15 per week consumed 3-4 at a time several times per week.

RV

I don't expect you to reply RV as you are very busy...but I would say that just about brings you into the 'Normal' drinking range.

Ok - this has nothing to do with TSM -

But now you've got me even more nervous, N101CS. My broker says the market will probably go sideways for the next 10 months or so. I've got $$ in mutual finds for my kids & son going off to college in the fall. Have debated whether to put most of their funds in cash or what. What do you mean squirreling $$ away? Same thinking i.e. going into cash? I am just interested in your opinion as to what you are saying about "the black clouds"...

BTW, I took advantage of the historic high in gold prices this week and sold a couple of gold coins, etc. My Krugerand that has been sitting in a safe-deposit box? Now $1,000+ cash in the bank. Hello new golf clubs!! LOL

But not much more to laugh at. My drinking has been the same - altho I am a Nal devotee & only keeping the faith thru contact here...looking at my retirement account makes me wanna go...hhhhhuuuuhhhh!!!

I try to avoid starting a political discussion on this site but I have to agree with RV. We are some hard times ahead. Hyper-inflation is inevitable.

We have stocked up on emergency stores. We have nearly a years supply of food in the basement. It may sound dramatic but we had an ice storm a few years ago and the grocery stores were bare in six hours. Imagine a large scale break-down.
I would also like to have about six months of Nal.

I am locked into the market and can't sell and I am not sophiticated enough to make option trades.

I now count days on Nal, rather than drinking days.
