Hey folks. After extensive reading, and saving money, and a lot of nervousness, my first shipment of Nal arrived today from allday. Surprisingly quick, only took 10 days, and I'm quite thankful it's here. Now that it has arrived, here is my dilemma:
It will probably be at LEAST another 2-4 weeks before I can place another order for more nal. My first batch is of 30 pills, and will probably be able to swing something similar in 2 weeks. My concern is starting TSM only to run out of Nal before my next batch shows up, thus causing more stress and interrupting my treatment. Should I hold off for another week or two before starting? Was my fast delivery from all day atypical or can I rely on this 10 day time frame?

I split mine into 25 mg. And we all recommend that for the first few days anyways to let your body acclimate to any SE's.

I continued on 25 mg for a while but then shifted to 50 mg after a month. Thats my experience. It didn't hurt me but I can't make suggestions as I am not a doctor.

well I can't speak as to whether the 10 day delivery was atypical, especially given your very general description of your whereabouts but I can share my experience:

I ordered my first Nal from Alldaychemist to tennessee and it took about 15 days I think. Then I soon realized that it would be a good idea to visit my shrink, who had given me a vivitrol shot with instructions to abstain (didn't work) in the past. This way my insurance would cover it and it would be more readily available. Thankfully, she was open to TSM. She also ordered it on the phone for me from CVS caremark to be delivered to my house and they sent a bill to my house later.

I am very happy to have found a local doctor to prescribe Nal. if you look around the board or ask, you may find one in your area. I took 25mg for the first 2 days and had mild side effects. then bumped up to 50. I was ready to begin the extinction process.

I would look for a doctor. you don't have to tell them about TSM. maybe just ask for it and they will instruct you to abstain. or, if you want to go the river/allday route, order that stuff ASAP!!!!!!! We also don't know how often you drink normally, which definitely would affect how long the Nal will last.

another note: someone on the board called galoot sp? mentioned possibly getting a bad batch of Nal from river. you may want to ask him/her about it. I think it's probably just the initial side effects and the doc told galoot it was bad nal. docs don't tend to like the idea of ordering drugs from india. mine scoffed at it.

also: telling the doc you are already ordering Nal from india may help you gegt a prescription because of this factor.
