Dave, I am only trying to understand your view and what you have been printing here during the last 24-48 hours.

You have posted a lot of posts in the last day or two, you sound angry, and I wanted to try understand why, to see if I could help you. Well, silly me!

By telling me to 'drop it', I am quite honestly a little insulted considering I am only trying to understand your point of view...and perhaps help you.

If this is how you react to someone who is wanting to try understand what you are saying, then good luck - I hope you get sober and have a happy life, I really do.

But by responding like that to someone trying to help, you are going to put off others from trying to understand/help you. Perhaps you could try be a little more forthcoming when you are asked a question? Especially since you are saying you stopped TSM. You are on a TSM forum remember?

Well, thanks for the conversation.

Being intrigued by this thread, I looked up this Naltrexone Confidential.

The title is NC - A website dedicated to promoting awareness of The Sinclair Method

Based on this, I don't understand the following.

1. Whoever runs this blog is well within his right to print/or not print any responses he receives.

2. The blog is to promote the Sinclair Method.

Based on what you say, both Melissa and Dave, you have had articles refused?

Comments, not articles.

Well, if it didn't agree with this persons statement to promote TSM why would you expect it to be printed?

If that had been the case, I would not have expected it.

Maybe the same is true of this Naltrexone Confidential - try TSM, see if you like it, and if not try something else.

Based on what Dave has written, he has had a bad experience with TSM. Well, if you went into Walmart and told them you didn't like their bread, would you really, honestly expect them to promote that Dave???

Of course not!

My irritation with the guy stems from the fact that he won't even approve comments along the lines of "TSM worked for me as well, but my experience of it was somewhat different than yours." Anything other than "Great article, thanks so much!" is never approved.

Oh, I see.

Well thank you Melissa - that has cleared that up for me. I understand.

I am pleased you are more responsive than Dave, who seems to have issues of his own that need sorting in response to someone wanting to help.

One last thing, I am trying to stay positive here.

You will see that I only joined this forum today.

I am going to read as much as I can on this forum to try help me, but I am wondering if my first 'encounter' with Dave is typical of this thread? I hope everyone isn't as angry as Dave seems to be.

At first glance, this is not dis-similar to AA forums I tried when I was at AA.

I hope to find some help, and help others in the process.

Glad to meet you.

I assume that you have some interest in The Sinclair Method, since you're here. Why not just read around a little? I don't think this is an especially angry place; pretty much everything is friendly and supportive.

You and Dave don't have to like each other. Any group with more than a handful of people is bound to have some personality clashes. That's just life, you know? One clash doesn't have to put you off of the entire forum.
