We may be very similar in that we didn't have a tough road when it came to quitting. I myself, quit on my own, just started going to mtgs. I didn't do the rehab thing. I also don't think that I would end up immediately where I left off, it would take some time. My only concern is that I'm not working at the moment, so it can be really easy to fall into a daily drinking routine. I will have to be diligent. Conversely, being single and not being able to go out on a date for a drink is a pain in the arse.
I am curious to know how you fare. I'm hopeful we don't fall into the percentage of people it doesnt work for...that would suck
