Well he has told me that he wants to be a very very rare drinker. Maybe a glass of wine at Christmas or something like that. I would be happy if he could just get to the point where is drinking at a safe level and has the ability to take AF days with ease. I personally think he's setting the bar a little high for himself. I know it might take a long time still...

I just get excited to see any changes. Trust me, 6 months ago he would have spent all weekend slamming full shots or even doubles, and there would be no stopping him until he passed out cold. There have definitely been changes between then and now.

Thanks everyone. :)

Welp he just posted his weekly units, which is the lowest number he's had since September. Not too bad! 8-)

Well we're not out of the woods yet, the last two weeks his numbers have been awful. But this week it looks like it's gonna be way down yet again. The roller coaster ride is so frustrating. At least he is conscious and "with it" almost all the time now, even when he's drinking big amounts.

Even though his numbers are staying high, I have noticed that it is more and more rare for him to drink during the day anymore, or get up in the middle of the night to have one. It's pretty much all in the evening. That's good I guess!
