Hey Everybody,

I flossed again last night...that's two nights in a row. As the other post said,..its the little things.... (for you emoticonaholics)

Seriously though, my well being and outlook are good(I'm a little ill), I fell asleep at 11ish maybe after a glass of wine and one large martini. Never out of control but however,..I did wake up at 1.15 AM totally sober, and needed a drink to at least get some semblance of tiredness back in my system....drank 4 ounces or so of vodka with lemon juice (fresh of course) and fell pleasantly back to sleep after an hour or two (after brushing and flossing).....slept till Mrs. woke me for a ride to the train station....I'm in a good spot....

I only hope to make it three nights in a row flossing and now I'm off to work in the studio with a smile :P

Take care, Jim

Jim - that's a hoot. You're flossing your way to sobriety - hell, the rest of us are drinking our way to sobriety. Ha, ha, ha.

Lovely to read your positive mood - it comes through. Have a great weekend.

OMG, so true.. I have been scrupulous in my dental and night skin care lately - and have received complements on how great my skin looks... the little things are just as important for all of us.

   Good one! I agree too, it is the little things. I have been washing the dinner dishes at night, not in the a.m. as I had so often in the past.
And I remember to wear my retainer, more often than not.
So I guess Nal is good for our teeth.

Well,

I guess I got a little caught up in my own happiness and got slammed last night.

Drunk at her favorite spot. Don't really remember...

Woke up and she had found most of my stash and left it for me to see....

I think part of it is having to hide it...I wish she would support me, it would just be so much easier for everybody. But I realize this is a roller coaster and this is just one day and I have a new day today and have to work with a vocalist tonight so can't get slammed at least before 10 PM...wish me luck. Haven't spoken to her yet today,..That oughta be fun.....Best, jim

PS no brushing or flossing last night

So sorry, bad news. I know how you feel, sneaking is really awful, and getting caught compounds the situation. Good luck.
